This is 3D flight simulator program applicable to target archery. Unzip and run arrow.exe.

This is a program to illustrate how moment of inertia varies with the geometry/weights of a V-bar/long rod assembly.Unzip and run setup.exe.

Arrow comparison program V4.0 (2MB zip file .....as at May 2011)
This is a program to compare arrow static properties (FOC, speed, energy etc.) and also the relative aerodynamic flight performance (tuning/shot/wind effects. Unzip and run setup.exe. Arrow FOC/Speed Balance Calculator
This an ".xls" spreadsheet aimed at comparing point weight and FOC for appropriate arrow shafts against a defined speed requirement. (Note the spreadsheet is unprotected so you can use the content how you like. For normal usage user inputs are in red).

Basically you define the required arrow launch speed (or range) and the total arrow mass (range) to obtain this is calculated. Having determined the relevant shafts from the manufacturers' tables (draw weight and draw length) entering shaft weight (gpi) in a table calculates the required point weight and resultant FOC for each shaft which meet the defined arrow mass (speed) criteria.

Arrow Shaft Euler Critical Load Calculator
This an ".xls" spreadsheet which calculates the Euler buckling critical load as per the method suggested by Blythe. Maybe useful in comparing arrow stiffness in the tuning sense. For backgound discussion see Slender Column Buckling
